-
An accompanied child under one and a half metres in height travels free.

Transporting wheelchair users and children in pushchairs or prams on city buses.
-
Wheelchairs users and children in pushchairs or prams may travel on designated buses subject to space being available. A sticker on the outside of the bus (central door) shows its maximum payload. Disabled Customers in wheelchairs may travel only on designated routes and get on and off only at designated bus-stops, which are indicated with a symbol on bus stop tables and timetables. Notwithstanding the regulations regarding entrance doors, disabled passengers and pushchairs and their helpers must always board the bus by the central door.
-
Once on board, wheelchairs must be positioned in the area designated for them with their back against the backrest and with the brakes on. Pushchairs/prams must be placed in the designated area with the brakes on; the adult in charge must hold the pushchair/pram firmly by the hand and take all measures to ensure the child's safety.
-
If you are on board with a child's pushchair and a wheelchair user wishes to board at the next bus stop, you must take the pushchair and child and move to the area next to the space designated for passengers with reduced mobility. The usual precautions must be taken when positioning pushchairs and so that they do not interfere with the normal, safe use of the bus by other passengers; wheelchair users must occupy the space designated for wheelchairs.
-
If two children's pushchairs are already on board the bus, a wheelchair user will not be permitted to board the bus.
-
Wheelchairs and pushchairs are carried free of charge on city buses from 9am on weekdays and Saturdays, and at all times on Sundays and public holidays.
-
Pushchairs are always carried free of charge if they are folded (dimensions must not exceed 115x20x15 cm).
